Police are searching for suspects after an 18-year-old man was shot and two others were stabbed outside the East York Town Centre Monday night.
The shooting victim was hit in the leg around 8:30 p.m. on Overlea Boulevard.
Two other victims, both 19, drove themselves to hospital, police told CityNews. One man was stabbed in the stomach and chest and the other victim was stabbed near his eye.
None of the victims' injuries are said to be life-threatening.
There's no word yet on a motive or a description of the suspects.
Angie Price, who lives in the area, told CityNews she sometimes feels unsafe in the neighbourhood.
"I'm never worried when I stay in our complex, but when I come out and walk down Thorncliffe I'm a little bit nervous. There's the typical gang-banger kids in low-pants," she said.
