On days of
record-breaking heat, most of us retreat to air conditioned rooms, public pools, or our favourite shady spots at a local park. But Toronto Fire crews don't have the luxury of cooling down when things get hot. In fact, they do the very opposite, donning heavy equipment and risking their lives to douse blazes and help the vulnerable.
