Durham Regional police have changed a young man in the region’s first homicide of the year.
Kyle Marcoux, 21, faces a second-degree murder charge in the death of Tyson Henry, 22.
Henry was fatally stabbed on July 2. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Parkham Crescent and Colmar Avenue around 12:45 a.m. and found him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the two men had a verbal fight that quickly escalated.
Marcoux turned himself in to police on Monday night. Officers are not looking for any more suspects.
