This murder capped off a
very violent weekend in the GTA. Another man was shot to death earlier Sunday night at a barbecue at an apartment complex on Dundas Street West, near Scarlett Road. Jermaine Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, where several children were playing when the shots rang out.
There were two other shootings in Toronto the same night -- one in the Eglinton and Birchmount area and the second near Sheppard and Keele.
Shots were also fired at a home on Honeybee Drive in Brampton on Sunday.
