Toronto police are now investigating a murder in the city’s north end after a man died Friday morning.

Officers discovered the body of Patrick Walters, 55, in a parking lot on Exbury Road near Jane Street and Wilson Avenue around 11 a.m. Initially, his death was deemed suspicious.

On Tuesday, police said they were now investigating a homicide. The cause of death was multiple injuries associated with a fall.

Police waited for the results of an autopsy before they could say it was a murder investigation, Const. Victor Kwong told Citynews
