Angry Senior Leaves Robber Completely Naked

If someone tries to rob your house, you'd probably be satisfied to get a fingerprint or a license number. Not Wayne Boniface. When a burglar tried to pilfer possessions from his Duluth, Minnesota home, the feisty 69-year-old made it his business to ensure the crook would be easily spotted when he called the cops - he left the guy completely naked.

It happened Thursday night when the senior and his wife returned home to find a man ransacking his residence. When the crook lunged at his spouse, Boniface sprung into action. "As soon as he grabbed my wife, I had him in the kitchen wrestling him to the ground in a headlock and arm-lock," he remembers. During the tussle, the would-be robber's shirt was torn off. Then the rest of his apparel followed. "His head was down over the railing, and in today's world, pants are worn fairly loose," the defender recounts. "I pulled his pants, and his pants and underpants and shoes came completely off. He was completely nude."

The now-utterly defenceless intruder took off running, while Boniface phoned the local police. When they asked for a description, the 'victim' told cops he'd be easy to find. "I believe he's the only guy running nude in Duluth," the local hero told the startled dispatcher.

And sure enough, that was the key clue. With the help of neighbours, an undressed 20-year-old who was wanted on several other warrants was arrested about 20 minutes later and charged with burglary. He still has to wend his way through the court system, but as far as Boniface is concerned, it's case clothes-ed.
