A cyclist has died after an accident involving a truck on Dundas Street West.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, at Sterling Road just west of Lansdowne, around 11:30 a.m. after several people called 911, but paramedics were unable to save the woman.

The victim’s name and age haven’t been released.

The cyclist and truck driver were reportedly turning onto Dundas from Sterling at the same time when the collision happened.

Dundas was closed west of Lansdowne for several hours but has since reopened.

The 506 and 505 Dundas streetcars were turning back at Lansdowne for several hours, but reopened around 2:30 p.m.,  the TTC said.
