Police have charged two people after a couple was caught having sex on a TTC subway train and platform.

TTC spokesman Brad Ross said the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Sunday on a southbound train on the Yonge-University-Spadina line.

Another passenger pushed the yellow strip, which stopped the train for nearly 15 minutes at Spadina. A guard got on the train, but the couple got off and finished having sex on the platform.

Police have charged the two with engaging in a lewd act. They two were taken to hospital for being extremely intoxicated, Ross said.
