A Toronto man accused of groping women on the TTC while pretending to be asleep has surrendered to police.
Hektor Konomi, 34, turned himself in to police on Tuesday afternoon and has been charged with seven counts of sexual assault.
Police say that around 9 p.m. on Oct. 4, a man sat down beside a woman while travelling westbound on Bloor-Danforth line, placed his knapsack over his lap and then grabbed her thigh from under the bag.
The same man allegedly did the same thing to a second woman on Dec. 9, also on the Bloor-Danforth line.
Konomi is scheduled for a court appearance at Old City Hall on Wednesday morning.
