Police searching for suspects after Brampton woman viciously attacked

Police investigate after a woman was beaten on Seaborn Rd., in Brampton on Monday, January 23, 2012. CITYNEWS.
Peel police are hunting for suspects wanted in the savage beating and alleged sexual assault of a Brampton woman on Monday.

Police were called to a home on Seaborn Rd., near Bingham Rd., around 4:40 a.m. after reports of a woman screaming for help.

It’s not clear if the victim, 55, lived in the area.

She was transported to hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. Initially she was listed in life-threatening condition, but has now been upgraded to stable.

Investigators are looking for a dark-skinned male, 6’2” tall who was seen wearing dark clothing. This suspect is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

Police are asking anyone with information on this case to call the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at (905) 453-2121, ext. 2233.
