Two suspects were arrested in Brampton early Wednesday after they took off when they crashed their car near Dixie Road and Williams Parkway.

The pair crashed the car on Milford Crescent around 2 a.m. and the men then fled on foot. The crash knocked out power to the area for a short time.

Officers, who may have been following the men as part of a break-and-enter investigation, called in the canine unit to help in the search.

An ambulance was called for the suspects because they’d suffered slight injuries.

So far, no names have been released and there’s no word yet on charges.
