Toronto police are hoping surveillance footage will help them track down a suspect wanted for sexually assaulting a woman in the city’s downtown core.

Investigators say on Jan. 24 around 3 a.m., a 47-year-old woman was approached in the hallway of an apartment building in the Shuter and Parliament Street area.

The man engaged the woman in conversation. The pair went into one of the apartments, where the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as: five feet six inches tall with a skinny build, tan complexion and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt, a dark shirt with white lettering and blue jeans.
