3 boys charged after banquet hall stabbings

Police have charged three boys after separate stabbings at a birthday party Saturday night.

Officers say a 17-year-old and 20-year-old, both male, were hurt in separate stabbings at a banquet hall near Bloor and Dundas streets. Their injuries were not life-threatening.

Police arrested two 15-year-old boys and one 14-year-old boy on Sunday and Monday and charged them with a total of 18 offences, including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous.

All three are being held for bail hearings.

They can't be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
