A man is in hospital after he was shot in the stomach Friday afternoon
It happened at a housing complex on Lawrence Avenue East, near Markham Road.
The victim reportedly showed up at the Scarborough Hospital emergency room around 3 p.m., but was transferred to the trauma centre at St. Michael’s Hospital because of the seriousness of his injuries.
He is now in stable condition.
Police have made no arrests.
