Overhead wires fell on a King streetcar near Roncesvalles Avenue Friday morning. No one was hurt, but the incident prompted a brief road closure during the morning rush.

The wires fell on the streetcar around 6:30 a.m. The driver was apparently the only one on board at the time.

The problem forced the closure of King Street West, between Shaw and Roncesvalles for about half an hour. The road reopened around 7:15 a.m.

The King car is diverting around the area.
