Toronto police are investigating what they're calling a suspicious death after a man's body was found in a Scarborough home on Wednesday night.

The homicide squad was called in after the body was found on Ridgecrest Drive, near Warden Avenue and Huntingwood Drive.

A woman is in custody, and has been charged with indignity to a human body.

"We started seeing a lot of police cars, forensics, about two days ago. But we'd never seen anything strange before," neighbour Steven Lau told CityNews.

"I'm very surprised something like this happened on the street."
