Two Traffic Accidents Send Three Men To Hospital In Serious Condition

Two of the victims, believed to be in their 20s, were injured in a crash near Morningside and Sheppard around 3am. Their car collided with a garbage truck and the driver of the larger vehicle wasn't injured.

A commercial inspection unit was brought to the scene to check out the truck and investigators still aren't sure what caused the accident.

And a third man was injured when he was struck by a car just after midnight in the east end.

The pedestrian, also in his 20s, was walking along Danforth west of Coxwell when he was hit. He was rushed to hospital in serious condition and his name hasn't been released.

There's no word on possible charges.

If you saw either of these accidents, Traffic Services is asking you to contact them at (416) 808-1900.
