Pastor And Teacher Accused Of Terrible Crime Involving A 13-Year-Old Girl

Cops have charged a 43-year-old man who works as both a pastor and a teacher with a series of sex crimes.

Paul Tuck teaches at the Mississauga Christian Academy, a private Christian school. He's accused of luring one of his own teenaged students over the Internet for sex and then assaulting the youngster at both his school and his church.

The case came to the attention of authorities after the parents of a 13-year-old girl became aware of the alleged offences and contacted police.

Detectives say the accused is friends with the family and has taught the alleged victim for the past two years. They contend Tuck would contact the girl over the web, where he supposedly engaged in explicit dialogue with the child.

The accuse him of using his church and his classroom as a point of contact with the teen and that he physically carried out some of his web conversations on 'numerous occasions'.

News of his arrest shocked parents who in the area of the school he taught at.

"The street is full of little kids and in the morning it's packed with children going to school. There are three schools in the area," said Christine Glen-Coussee.

"I'm pretty shocked actually because I never expected it from that school, that's one of the reason I sent (my son) here" adds Kim Decoito.

Tuck, who has two daughters of his own, is facing charges of luring, sexual assault and sexual interference, and remains behind bars awaiting a bail hearing on the weekend.

He keeps a profile on MySpace.com, and some of his personal comments are worrisome.

"I am a pastor," he writes, as a slideshow of him at school and with friends passes by. "I mean, I USED to be a pastor.

"MY LIFE IS IN LIMBO RIGHT NOW. Maybe it's in limbo forever, I don't know ...  I feel lately like I have been to hell and back."

Authorities know people in positions of trust often have easy access to children and they're wondering if any other kids have come into similar contact with the accused.
