Earlier this week, we told you about a
brazen shooting in the lobby of an apartment building at
2765 Islington Ave. that outraged police and residents alike.
It was around 8:20pm Monday night when two men began chasing an 18-year-old through the hallway of the building. One callously fired off shots in his direction that fortunately missed him and other innocent bystanders.
Those on the scene came to the victim's aid and were also shot at, before the two gunmen fled.
Now cops have released grainy and somewhat disjointed pictures from security cameras at the scene (top left) of both suspects. And while the resolution leaves a lot to be desired, they believe it may be enough to help them find the triggerman and his companion.
Suspect #1 (pictured upper left of photo) is:
He was wearing a black baseball cap with gold logo, a gold logo on the front and back of a black shirt and black pants. He was armed with a dark-coloured semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #2 (seen in the middle and right side of photo) is:
He was clad in a white tank top and grey track pants.
It's not much to go on, but cops have solved tougher crimes with a lot less. Call
