Police are trying to track down suspects following a shooting targeting a man and a woman near Sheppard Avenue East and McCowan Road late Monday.

Several shots rang out just after 11:30pm as a man and a woman came out of a home on Hallbank Terrace.

Authorities say a vehicle pulled up as the couple left the house and fired off several rounds before speeding away.

Luckily, neither person was hit.

Investigators are hoping you can help them track down the suspect, or suspects, wanted for this shooting. If you can help, call 42 Division at (416) 808-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.

Pedestrian Struck

An elderly woman in a crosswalk was hit by an SUV on Midland at Lord Roberts, just north of Eglinton Tuesday afternoon around 4:30.

The 85-year-old pedestrian was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with life-threatening injuries but there's no update on her condition.

Body Found In Destroyed Building

The demolition of the Children's Storefront at Bathurst and Dupont Monday was halted due to the discovery of a body inside.

The family support centre with apartments above was gutted by fire on the weekend and the remains of a woman have been found in the ruins.

Tests still have to be done to confirm the victim's identity but there's speculation the body is that of Marie Speck, a woman who woke up tenants when the fire broke out and then vanished.
