Police Trying To Track Down Dangerous Offender

Police are trying to track down a man they say has a violent history, including sex attacks on children, after he failed to comply with the conditions of his release.

Forty-one-year-old Mark Anthony Burton, who also goes by the alias Rickey Downey, is wanted for breach of recognizance. Authorities claim he has an extensive criminal history that includes firearms charges, sex assaults against children and living off the avails of prostitution.

Police describe him as dangerous and at a high risk to re-offend. If you spot him they’re advising that you don’t approach him, but instead call 911.

Burton is described as:
  • Brown complexion
  • 5’9”, 240lbs,
  • Brown eyes and a shaved head
  • He has a number of tattoos, including a Playboy bunny and a teardrop below his left eye. He also has tattoos on either side of his neck.
