Toronto Police are looking for suspects after an innocent bystander was shot on a TTC bus.

Violence broke out at Sheppard and Arleta avenues, just east of Jane Street, around 9:15pm on Thursday.

Early reports indicate that a van pulled up beside a TTC vehicle and a man with a gun got out. He allegedly opened fire, hopped back in, and took off.

The victim, an unidentified man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with a bullet in his shoulder. His injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.

On Friday, police released an appeal for witnesses to come forward. Watch the video below.
