A four-year-old boy was hit by a van near Shuter and Sumach streets around 2:30pm Tuesday.
The boy was unconscious after being struck at a crosswalk. He was walking with his mom and five-year-old sister at the time.
The prognosis wasn't good when he arrived at Sick Kids, but a catscan revealed no serious head trauma.
It's expected that the driver will face charges under the Highway Traffic Act, and the little boy will be heading home soon.
