For Joe Pantalone, it's mayor or nothing when it comes to politics.  The former Deputy Mayor of Toronto officially threw his hat into the ring to become the new mayor of Toronto on Wednesday.

Pantalone signed his papers and payed the fee at 11am. He joins Rocco Rossi, Georgio Mammoliti, and George Smitherman among serious hopefuls.

Pantalone made it clear that if he didn't win, he would seek new career options.

"Joe Pantalone is ready to be mayor of the city of Toronto," he said.  "However, if I am not mayor I will no longer be involved in active politics."
