Police and members of the community were out on Saturday in search of a 27-year-old Belleville woman who went missing on Thursday night.

Jessica Elizabeth Lloyd sent a text message to a family friend around 10:30pm and no one has been able to contact her since. She did not show up for work on Friday, which her family says is out of character.

Lloyd is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 125 lbs, with green eyes and dark brown, shoulder-length hair. She has an intricate “L” tattoo on her lower back and may be wearing brown suede boots with white stitching, a sweater and a vest.

She does not have any identification with her.

About 4,500 people have joined a Facebook group created to help spread the word.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 613-966-0882, ext. 2224.
