Missing Belleville Woman Found Dead, CFB Trenton Commander Charged

Police Search For Missing Belleville Woman

An arrest has been made in the disappearance and death of a missing Belleville woman, last seen January 28.

The body of Jessica Lloyd, 27, was discovered Sunday night.

Lloyd was reported missing after she failed to show up for her job at the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services in Napanee. The last time anybody heard from her was a late evening text message on January 28.

Colonel Russell Williams (pictured below), 46, base commander at CFB Trenton, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Police have also charged Williams with first-degree murder in the death of Marie Comeau, 38.

Williams was a commander at CFB Trenton, where Comeau was a corporal. Comeau was found dead in her home on November 25, 2009.

Williams has also been charged with two counts of home invasion dating back to September 2009. He was taken into custody in Ottawa.

"Williams became brought to the attention of police as a result of information gathered during a roadside canvas on highway 37 on the night of Feb. 4," revealed Det. Insp. Chris Nichols.
