Ottawa Police believe a man charged for the alleged sexual assault of two boys last fall may be in the Toronto area.

Authorities are trying to track down 64-year-old Eldon James Hardy. He reportedly walked away from an Ottawa hospital last Friday and investigators have reason to believe he headed to the GTA.

Ottawa police allege Hardy has failed to comply with his release conditions. He was charged in September for the alleged sex attacks.

Hardy had previously been found not criminally responsible for attacks on young boys in the 1970s and 1980s.
