A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has turned himself in.

Danny Nguyen (pictured), 27, surrendered to Durham Regional Police on Monday.

Nguyen is accused of several crimes following a shooting in Port Perry last week.

Andrew Lee Shue, 43, was killed on March 4. A 35-year-old man was also wounded, but is expected to survive.

The shootings took place at a residence at Crandall Street and Highway 7A. Investigators believe that the three men knew each other but haven't determined a motive.

Nguyen has been charged with:
  • second-degree murder
  • aggravated assault
  • possession of a weapon dangerous to the public
He will appear in court on Tuesday.
