Constable James Ochakovsky is the first Peel officer to die in the line of duty in 25 years.

The 36-year-old was killed after his cruiser crashed while responding to a non-emergency call.

On Monday a steady stream of mourners attended his visitation at the Turner and Porter funeral home.
