A high school in the city’s northwest end has been evacuated after a pepper spray incident Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 10:30am, someone reportedly sprayed the substance throughout Westview Centennial Secondary School near Jane and Finch streets, prompting several complaints about irritated eyes.
There are reports one student was sent to hospital as a precaution.
The hazardous materials unit was called in to investigate.
