StreetBeat – March 10 – Race Track Casino Evacuated

The Woodbine race track was evacuated early Wednesday over a suspicious package scare.

People were ushered out of the casino at Rexdale Boulevard and Highway 27 around 2:30am when a man smelling of gasoline walked in. He was taken into custody as authorities inspected a suspicious package found outside.


Police Asking For Public's Assistance

Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman.

On Wednesday, a woman suffering from a reported case of amnesia visited the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in the Queen Street and Ossington Avenue area.

The woman, who is now known as Jane Doe, can’t remember her name or any personal information.

She is described as:

  • White
  • 40-50 years old
  • blue eyes
  • shoulder-length brown hair
  • 5’5
  • 125 lbs
  • thin lips with a mole on the upper right cheek and the middle of her left cheek.
