More Winter Weather Headed To GTA
Spring has arrived early this year according to Environment Canada.

The agency said winter is done and this year’s snowy season was one of the driest we’ve seen.

Environment Canada defines winter as December, January and February and this chilly season was the driest in 63 years.

The country received 20 per cent less snowfall than normal and there was 40 per cent less snow recorded in the GTA.

And on the whole, this winter was warmer as the average temperatures came in four degrees higher.

The vernal equinox marks the official first day of spring, which is March 20th.
