Autopsies will be performed Monday for the victims of an alleged double murder.
Tracy Hannah, 46, and her daughter Whitney, 14, were found dead in their Mountain View home on Friday. Hannah’s daughter Shannon, 18, remains at Kingston General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene around 6am on March 12. A short pursuit led them to a suspect in Trenton.
Dean Brown, 18, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
At a bail hearing Monday, the court issued a publication ban. Brown was remanded in custody until March 22.
Meanwhile, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is investigating whether a bar in Belleville may have served alcohol to Brown the night before the alleged murders. Brown, who is not of legal drinking age, was allegedly spotted at Matt and Joe's nightclub on Thursday March 11.
