Four people have been arrested for a shooting behind a Woodbridge plaza and police are searching for a fifth outstanding suspect they describe as “armed and dangerous”.

A 20-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was shot Sunday night behind 7960 Kipling Ave. around 9:30pm. An argument about money escalated, police said, and the victim was allegedly shot as he tried to run away.

Investigators picked up four suspects this week, including a 16-year-old boy, but are still trying to track down a fifth.

Leonzio “Leo” Carbone, 22, is wanted for attempted murder and other firearms charges. York cops released his picture Wednesday in the hopes tips from the public could help them track him down. Carbone is described as:

  • White,
  • 5’11”, 154lbs
  • Brown hair and blue eyes

This suspect is being urged by authorities to contact a lawyer and then contact them. If you spot Carbone, police insist you shouldn’t approach him, but call 911.

The other four suspects, Giuseppe Centi, 19, Jacob Bright, 19, Donald Lackie, 22, and the 16-year-old were slated to appear in court Wednesday. They’re all charged with attempted murder.
