Girl, 16, Charged Following Stabbing

A teenage Toronto girl has been charged following an alleged stabbing at a March Break party.

Police say the alleged incident occurred in the early morning hours of March 16. Emergency crews were called to 2300 Finch Ave. W., a North York strip mall, around 12:45am.

There, they found a 17-year-old girl who had allegedly been stabbed in the abdomen. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 16-year-old girl, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with:
  • aggravated assault
  • assault with a weapon
  • fail to comply recognizance
