Man Shot Near Jane And Sheppard Dies In Hospital

A man in his 20s has died after he was shot in the head on Friday afternoon. The victim was initially transported to Sunnybrook hospital with life-threatening injuries, but did not survive.

Emergency crews, including the canine unit, were called to the scene near Sheppard Avenue West and Jane Street at about 3pm.

Police taped off the area and were hunting for at least one suspect, who may have got in a taxi following the attack. He is described as black, 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a heavy build.
