Thinking of heading out on the open road this long weekend?

Better keep your foot off the gas: Toronto is the worst city in North America for speed traps.

That’s according to a list put out by the National Motorists Association.

Their annual survey is compiled by readers and ranks Ontario’s capital above Montreal, New York, and even Los Angeles.

(We also spend more time in traffic than LA commuters, thanks to crippling gridlock.)

Drivers have submitted over 60,000 sites to the “Worst North American Speed Trap Cities.”

It could be a spot where they’ve routinely seen police officers, or automated traffic camera.
