A labour dispute is threatening to disrupt the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.
Management and union officials were negotiating late Thursday night at the Hyatt Regency Toronto on King Street West, the hotel headquarters for TIFF this year.
Workers claim Hyatt refuses to rehire staff and increase work hours that were cut at the start of the recession although the hotel has made huge profits.
They'll find out if they are on strike after the midnight deadline.
TIFF runs September 9 to 19.
