Hamilton police have identified a body found inside a car in the city’s harbour Saturday as that of missing 28-year-old Paul Michael Foster.
Officials say the Department of National Defence Dive Team located the vehicle submerged in about eight metres of water sometime in the afternoon.
The vehicle was pulled up around 7:30pm at Pier 9 of Catharine St. North.
Once the car had been recovered, the body was discovered and the case was turned over to Hamilton police investigators.
Foster had been missing since January of 2010. Police say the autopsy showed no signs of foul play.
