Police Warn Women To Be Vigilant Following Scarborough Sex Assaults

Toronto police are warning women to be careful after a pair of sex attacks in the Scarborough area.

The first attack occurred Thursday night around 11pm in the McClevin Ave. and Neilson Rd. area.

Police say a male suspect grabbed a woman, dragging her into the bushes. Luckily, the woman managed to get away.

The second incident occurred Friday afternoon at around 4pm in the nearby area of Sewells and Neilson Rds.

The suspect allegedly snuck up on the victim, hitting her in the head with an unknown object.

The suspect is described as:

  • Black
  • In his late teens or early 20s
  • 5’8” or taller with a medium build
  • Clean shaven
  • Last seen wearing a t-shirt with brown and white horizontal stripes.
