Toronto police have found three English Bulldog puppies reported stolen on Friday afternoon.

The owner, Anne Liu, left the dogs in her Main and Danforth-area backyard for a few minutes, and when she came back out, they were gone.

Around 10pm on Saturday, officers found the puppies unharmed, two in a gym bag and one wandering nearby in an alleyway near Avenue Road and Lawrence Avenue West. A man walking nearby had heard them whimpering.

The suspect(s) are still at large.
