Fire Marshal Investigating Suspicious Blaze At Apartment Building

Flames broke out in a Cabbagetown highrise overnight, and the fire is being called suspicious.

Fire crews were called to the Elm Street apartment building after midnight. They found a 42-year-old suffering from smoke inhalation. The resident was taken to hospital to be treated, and is expected to be fine.

However officials felt there was more to the blaze than meets the eye and they called in the Fire Marshal's office to probe the circumstances.

At this point it's unknown how much damage was caused, or how the fire got started.
