Prime Minister Stephen Harper continued the discussion on his government’s Throne Speech Thursday on YouTube.
Harper’s speech was live-streamed on the site. Approximately 7,600 people watched the English version and just over 500 people watched it in French.
The PM used his online time to promote his government’s response to the economic recession and the success of the Vancouver Games.
Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff shot back claiming the Throne Speech contained no new ideas and the Conservatives provided no justification for the prorogation of Parliament.
Harper’s online announcement Thursday has been replaced by a speaker urging Canadians to submit questions to the prime minister for this next YouTube appearance next Tuesday at 7pm.
“The prime minister will answer a selection of your top voted questions in an exclusive YouTube interview,” the speaker said.
The deadline for question submissions is Sunday, March 14 at 1pm.
