Honda Civics Top List Of Most Stolen Cars In 2007
After receiving several complaints about the ignition interlock system in some of its cars, Honda Canada is recalling 44,000 vehicles.

The recall includes 18,000 Honda Accords, 21,000 Honda Civics and 2,000 Acura 1.7Els from the 2003 model year. It also includes 3,000 Honda Elements from the 2003 and 2004 model years.

There have been reports of drivers being able to remove the key from the ignition when the vehicle isn’t in park, due to damage and wear to the mechanism.

A vehicle could still move if it’s in park and the parking brake hasn’t been set.

Dealers will be sending notices out to affected customers in late September to let them know when they can bring their vehicles in for service.

Owners of affected vehicles can also call Honda at 1-888-946-6329 for more information.
