Tammie Sutherland

Having joined the CityNews team in 2008 as a writer, and later as an associate producer, Sutherland is now looking forward to a new challenge on the other side of the camera.

Sutherland was born in Toronto, raised in Malton and Brampton, and has roots in the sunny island of Jamaica. She studied journalism at Seneca College and earned a sociology degree at York University. Her career in journalism started in radio, working for Durham Radio Inc. in Oshawa before anchoring and reporting for AM640 Toronto.
