The Calgary Stampeders have signed non-import linebacker Justin Conn to a contract extension, the club announced on Monday.
"Justin Conn did an admirable job in 2011 on special teams," said Stamps head coach and general manager John Hufnagel. "Justin will have a great chance to develop his skills at the linebacker position by being at our training camp in June."
Conn was selected in the sixth round of the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft by the Montreal Alouettes. He played one game for the Als during the 2011 season before signing with the Stamps on Aug. 30.
In 10 games with the Stamps last season he recorded one tackle and three special-teams tackles.
