CityNews In New York: Jays Fans Make Historic Pilgrimage For Club's Last Stand At Yankee Stadium

The Toronto Blue Jays may not yet posses the rich tradition of the New York Yankees, but that doesn't mean their fans don't appreciate the historic significance of the final few games inside legendary Yankee Stadium at 161st and River.

Toronto's last series against the Yankees at the soon-to-be-replaced ballpark saw more than its share of baby blue hats and jerseys trying to stay afloat in a virtual ocean of pinstripes and NY logos.

Scores of Jays fans decided to hop in their cars and book flights and make the pilgrimage to the South Bronx to cheer on their hometown heroes. Here are some of the faces that made the journey of a lifetime.
