Anna Vlachos

Anna Vlachos joined CityNews as a reporter in 2010 and loves working with such a diverse and passionate team. Her whole life, Anna loved listening to other peoples stories and sharing what she learned about them to others. It seemed inevitable that she would one day work as a reporter.
Born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Anna graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor Degree in English as well as graduated from Specs Howard School of Broadcasting in Michigan, with a certificate in Video Broadcasting. Previous to working for Citytv Anna worked as a reporter and weekend anchor for ‘A’ London and as a reporter, health reporter and fill-in-anchor for ‘A’ Windsor.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys playing beach volleyball, reading mystery classics and spending time with her friends and family. Charities that are near and dear to her heart include John McGivney Children’s Centre, W.E. Care for Kids and the Canadian Cancer Society.
