Chakalaka

Chakalaka is best served with Pap as a cooked or warm salad
Ingredients:
1 lb finely diced onions
4 oz ginger, crushed
1 lb green beans, chopped
1 lb carrots, grated
500 grams canned baked beans
2 tbsp hot curry powder
1 tbsp garum powder
1 tbsp aromatics
pinch of salt
250 grams olive oil
1 green pepper, diced
Directions:
1. Heat Oil
2. Add onions, cook until it starts to turn brown
3. Add both curry powder and Ginger
4. Cook until ginger is soft then add green beans
5. Cook for another 2 minutes then add pinch of salt
6. Add carrots, canned beans and green pepper
7. Add Aromatic and leave to simmer
