Green Beans with Fooyi Bean Cake (Dan Seto - Chinese Canadian Historical Society of BC)

Ingredients:
1 lb green beans
3 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, sliced
3 to 6 cubes fooyi (bean cake)
1/2 tbsp sugar
Directions:
Wash green beans and cut off ends. Put in pot and boil for 1-2 minutes. For crispier taste, omit boiling.
Heat wok and put in cooking oil, garlic and ginger. Add green beans and stir fry 5 to 10 minutes. Add fooyi and sugar and mix in well.
